Ages 3 - 6Amazing Athletes is physical fitness development program empowering kids to reach developmental milestones and progress at their own pace. The kids will develop the physical literacy associated with speed, balance and overall coordination. They will also learn about nutrition and muscle identification while mastering 6 motor skills.
 
6:00 PM - 6:45 PM    Hockey - Tiny Tots Floor Hockey - Tiny Tots Floor Hockey 8U
Boys & Girls (Ages 4 - 6) In this indoor co-ed tiny tot floor hockey program, players will be placed on teams and taught basic skills, game safety and sportsmanship. No prior experience necessary. This program will be 20 minutes of practice with fun drills and a real game following.  Boys & Girls (8 & Under) Players will be placed on teams and taught basic skills as well as game safety and sportsmanship.  No prior experience necessary.  Warm ups, then game.  3 twelve minute periods.  *First time players receive team shirts.  End of season awards provided* Equipment Required: Helmet, knee and shin guards, elbow pads, gloves, cup (male players) and a stick. 7:45 PM - 11:59 PM    Hockey - Adult Floor Hockey (ages 17 & up) - Adult Floor Hockey Spring 2024
Thursday Night belongs to Northampton Adult Floor Hockey!  At the start of each season, participants are drafted by team captains, following a scrimmage to show off their skills.  Games begin the following week.  Registration fills up quickly, and no additional players may join after the completion of the draft.  ALL participants must register as a regular player.  If a player is drafted as a goalie, the household will be issued a $25.00 credit.If you are new to the league or haven’t played in 3 years, you are expected to attend the scrimmage on draft night or you will jeopardize losing their spot. **All plans, policies, schedules and rules are tentative and subject to change based on any change in conditions, including COVID-19 exposure or infection, weather and local, state and national guidelines or restrictions.**Games will have three 15-minute periods. For regular season games, a 5-minute OT will be played in the case of a tie. If there is no scoring during the OT, the game will end in a tie with each team receiving one point. (There are no shootouts.) Cancellations will be posted on Facebook.  It will be the responsibility of the captain to make sure players on their team are aware of any delay or cancellation.   Players must follow all federal, state and Township guidelines and rules regarding health and safety, including wearing masks while not playing and maintaining distance of at least six feet from others while not playing.  Spectators are prohibited from attending games or coming within 50 feet of the rink.Players may not arrive more than 15 minutes before their game and must leave immediately after their game (except goalies) Teams may be penalized or forfeit their season for violating any rules or guidelines, including any health and safety guidelines.  Season may be canceled due to safety concerns at the discretion of the Commissioner and/or Northampton Township. No credits or refunds, partial or full, will be given for any reason, including any forfeited, delayed or cancelled games or seasons.Spectators (including player friends and family) are prohibited from addressing refs and players especially in a confrontational, rude, critical or hostile manner.  Spectators are also forbidden from entering the playing court.  Any spectator that breaks either of these rules will be ejected from the facility, possibly permanently.  Furthermore, players who break these rules could result in having their being given misconduct penalties.   READ THE EXTENSIVE RULES TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THE LEAGUE or contact Scott at northamptonfloorhockey@gmail.com for more information. Cris' son Kiet, who was a member of USA Field Hockey’s Junior National Men’s Field Hockey and Indoor Hockey Teams and member of the Rider University coaching staff, will also be helping teach and coach the players. They will be assisted by volunteers from local high school teams.REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: Field hockey stick, shin pads, mouth guard, and field hockey ball. Please ensure player’s equipment is marked with their name or other unique identifier. 7:45 PM - 11:59 PM    Hockey - Adult Floor Hockey (ages 17 & up) - Adult Floor Hockey Spring 2024
Thursday Night belongs to Northampton Adult Floor Hockey!  At the start of each season, participants are drafted by team captains, following a scrimmage to show off their skills.  Games begin the following week.  Registration fills up quickly, and no additional players may join after the completion of the draft.  ALL participants must register as a regular player.  If a player is drafted as a goalie, the household will be issued a $25.00 credit.If you are new to the league or haven’t played in 3 years, you are expected to attend the scrimmage on draft night or you will jeopardize losing their spot. **All plans, policies, schedules and rules are tentative and subject to change based on any change in conditions, including COVID-19 exposure or infection, weather and local, state and national guidelines or restrictions.**Games will have three 15-minute periods. For regular season games, a 5-minute OT will be played in the case of a tie. If there is no scoring during the OT, the game will end in a tie with each team receiving one point. (There are no shootouts.) Cancellations will be posted on Facebook.  It will be the responsibility of the captain to make sure players on their team are aware of any delay or cancellation.   Players must follow all federal, state and Township guidelines and rules regarding health and safety, including wearing masks while not playing and maintaining distance of at least six feet from others while not playing.  Spectators are prohibited from attending games or coming within 50 feet of the rink.Players may not arrive more than 15 minutes before their game and must leave immediately after their game (except goalies) Teams may be penalized or forfeit their season for violating any rules or guidelines, including any health and safety guidelines.  Season may be canceled due to safety concerns at the discretion of the Commissioner and/or Northampton Township. No credits or refunds, partial or full, will be given for any reason, including any forfeited, delayed or cancelled games or seasons.Spectators (including player friends and family) are prohibited from addressing refs and players especially in a confrontational, rude, critical or hostile manner.  Spectators are also forbidden from entering the playing court.  Any spectator that breaks either of these rules will be ejected from the facility, possibly permanently.  Furthermore, players who break these rules could result in having their being given misconduct penalties.   READ THE EXTENSIVE RULES TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THE LEAGUE or contact Scott at northamptonfloorhockey@gmail.com for more information.
