At Engineering for Kids we believe that children are natural born engineers who have unlimited imaginations and unbridled enthusiasm.  We offer fun, hands-on learning for children ages 4 to 12.  our activities range from building flashlights and rockets to programming video games and robots.  The variety of programming is extraordinary!

Robotics 101 (ages 8-12 years)
Students will learn the basics of designing, programming, and controlling a fully functional robot.  using LEGO MINDSTORMS, mathematical concepts, and engineering principles students will brainstorm, plan, test, and modify sequences of instructions to accomplish a given task.  Students will also learn the sequence of communication between the robot, and the programmer by collecting and analyzing data using robot's sensors.  .

Rescue Robots (ages 8-12 years)
Robots save the day!  In this class, students will program virtual robots to navigate complex environments.  We will learn how to use different sensors and actuators in concert to complete tasks.  The students will configure and program their robot to save people from a burning building.  No prior experience is necessary.
