CAMP - Teen Summit

It is the pinnacle of a camper’s experience: the last year that teens entering 9th grade will enjoy the summer as a camper. Why not sign up for the ultimate camp experience?

Mandatory Orientation is 6/25 from 9:00 AM- 12:00 PM.

Option 1: Just Trips Perfect for the kids who just want to go on TRIPS!!!!! Trips will depart from Richboro Middle School and will take place Tuesday through Thursday and include transportation, supervision and lunch. They will include everything from Broadway to Bowling! Dorney Park, Six Flags, Camel Beach, Zip Lining and so much more!!! 

Option 2: CIT & Trips So you want to be a camp counselor?  Here is your chance!  Interested teens can apply to be part of our 6 week uniquely designed CIT program.  Learn everything there is to know about being an effective and enthusiastic camp counselor!  CIT's are assigned to a Camp Explore site on Mondays and Fridays and are assigned weekly tasks to complete with the campers.  Based on how their performance, they are awarded points.  At the end of the summer the CIT with the highest points is HIRED and guaranteed a position in our camp program the following summer!  All CIT participants are guaranteed an interview if they apply for a position after completing this program.  What are you waiting for ???  Click the link for the CIT application and learn more about the program.  Applications are due no later than 4:30 PM on Friday March 9.  Answers MUST be completed in applicant's writing and should reflect the prospective CIT's response, not the response from that of a parent.

No fee is assessed until applicants are accepted - all applicants are guaranteed a spot in "Summit Just trips" if not accepted.  Training will take place on Mondays and Fridays, 8:30-3:30 pm. Applicants MUST commit to the full 6 week program, June 25 through August 3. To receive a packet of information and an application, contact the Parks and Recreation Department in the Administration Building at 215-357-6800 x 249. A $300 Deposit is required at the time of acceptance.
